• 20 Mar 2025: Local authority ratesFrom Thursday 20 March, the local authority, regional and national population estimates, used to calculate rates, will be updated to use the latest estimates compatible with the 2021 Census. These include the most recent 2023 estimates and the rebased series from 2011 to 2022. After the update, rates for years from 2011 will only be available using the latest version of local authority geography: those as of April 2023. Rates will no longer appear with earlier versions. Any saved queries using older versions of local authorities will need to be updated.
