Move to 2021 Geography Base (21 Apr 2026)With the release of the Jan 2025-Dec 2025 data, the APS survey records have transitioned to being coded to 2021 output areas. Consequently, pre-2021 local authority geographies will no longer be updated. To access the latest figures, use either 2021 or 2023 local authorities. Older versions remain available for historical data access, but will not include data for the Jan 2025-Dec 2025 survey period onwards.

Jan 2025-Dec 2025 release delayedThe publication of the APS Workplace Analysis for Jan 2025-Dec 2025 will be delayed by several days. This is due to the additional processing and quality assurance required to implement the transition to 2021 output areas in the source survey records. Other APS datasets are not affected and have been released on schedule.
