Move to 2021/2022 GeographiesData for January 2026 onwards are available for 2021/2022-based geographies. Former 2011-based geographies remain available for use with earlier dates under the "historical" geography category, but will not be updated with new figures.
Limitations of JSA dataSince the introduction of Universal Credit to the Claimant Count in May 2013, Jobseekers Allowance datasets only cover a subset of people claiming unemployment related benefits. For data on all people claiming benefits principally for the reason of being unemployed please use the Claimant Count series.
